In a Lively AreaEvery room is identical: a king-size XL bed that takes up most of the floor space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a glass-enclosed rain shower. The mood pad tablet on the bedside table controls lighting colour and intensity, blinds, temperature, and the TV — which includes Netflix and free movies. Rooms are compact (around 14 m²) but very well designed. One thing to know: the toilet and shower share the glass pod, with only a semi-transparent sliding door separating it from the main room — fine for solo stays, less private for two.
Free unlimited Wi-Fi runs throughout the hotel and is fast enough for video calls and large file uploads. The rooms themselves have only a small ledge rather than a proper desk. The real working setup is in the socialhub lobby: communal tables, lounge seating, and strong Wi-Fi make it a popular informal workspace for both hotel guests and nearby professionals. There is also a business centre on site.
Amsterdam Zuid station is roughly a 3-minute walk from the hotel. From there, intercity trains reach Schiphol Airport in about 10 minutes and Amsterdam Central Station in 15. Trams 5 and 24 also stop at Amsterdam Zuid, connecting directly to Leidseplein, the Rijksmuseum (1.4 km), and Museumplein. Amsterdam RAI convention centre is 700 metres away on foot.
The cloudM canteen on the ground floor serves food and drinks throughout the day — breakfast buffet in the morning (paid), snacks and meals until late, cocktails and beer in the evening. Check-in is fully automated via kiosks; staff are around 24/7 but there is no traditional front desk. The location is in good proximity of the subway station, conference center RAI and a park. The staff were very helpful. Delicious breakfast and well thought interior in the common areas.
