Workation Proof Accommodation
A modern 3-star hotel opened in 2019 in Lisbon's Saldanha neighbourhood, with free Wi-Fi, a desk in every room, soundproofed walls, and a daily breakfast buffet. Saldanha Metro station is a 3-minute walk — on the direct line to the airport — making it a practical, well-priced base for remote workers.
Every room comes with free Wi-Fi, a desk, soundproofing, and air conditioning. The hotel is quiet by city-centre standards — it sits on a residential street off the main avenue — and rooms facing the back are particularly peaceful. Daily housekeeping and 24-hour front desk access keep the stay low-friction.
Rooms are compact but consistently well-reviewed for cleanliness, comfort, and air conditioning. In-room safe, mini bar, slippers, and toiletries are all included. The hotel has 130 rooms across double and twin configurations. Reviewers frequently note the bed quality and the soundproofed windows as standout features for the price.

The breakfast buffet runs daily and is one of the most consistently praised aspects of the hotel — good variety, fresh orange juice, and high-end WMF coffee machines, which reviewers have noted are unusual for a three-star property in Lisbon. There is also a bar and coffee shop on-site, and room service is available.
Saldanha Metro Station is 320 metres from the hotel and sits on the Red Line, which runs directly to Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport in about 20 minutes. Picoas Station (Blue Line) is 410 metres away. A large Continente supermarket is directly opposite the hotel entrance.
The hotel is on Avenida Defensores de Chaves in the São João de Deus neighbourhood, a quiet residential area north of the Marquês de Pombal roundabout. It is not in the historic centre, but the metro puts Baixa-Chiado and Rossio within 10–15 minutes. The Calouste Gulbenkian Museum is 1 kilometre away. Nearby streets have multiple restaurants, cafés, and a large supermarket.
We stayed at the hotel for a whole week, very nice and welcoming staff, clean rooms, good location (metro 3 minutes walk), and the breakfast was good! I recommend this hotel!
Modern clean hotel in perfect location, close to metro, easy access for airport and with plenty quality eating places within five minutes walk. Decent size, soundproof room, excellent breakfast with loads of choices and constantly replenished. Staff were all young, friendly, helpful and always with a smile. Can't recommend enough.
Clean room, great A/C, quiet yet central location, large supermarket across the street. Front desk manager and staff are extremely kind and were very helpful. Highly recommended!
