Funchal, the island's capital, is approximately 30 minutes by car. Free underground parking is available for guests.
I loved this quaint locale. This hotel is ideal. Ocean view rooms, large and spacious, no issues with the room, modern, beautiful glass shower. Everything was smooth and easy. Free parking a fantastic bonus.
Sauna, indoor pool, great breakfast / restaurant, friendly helpful staff and large comfortable clean rooms … in the best location … 10 out of 10 from me.
Bedroom was large and had a fantastic view of the sea. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and a chef who made tasty omelettes to order. Evening meal was good value with a good selection of dishes. Great underground car park. Small pool and sauna. Ponta do Sol has good access roads for visiting the island.
