Workation Proof Accommodation
Each room at Caravan Hotel by EHM includes a desk with chair, fast WiFi, and blackout curtains — a reliable and comfortable setup for working remotely from central Phnom Penh, with a 15th-floor rooftop pool to wind down after work.
Opened in 2024, Caravan Hotel by EHM is one of the more practical four-star options in Phnom Penh for remote workers. Every room comes with a dedicated desk and chair, fast WiFi throughout, blackout curtains, and air conditioning — basics that make a real difference when you need to work consistently. The building has 94 rooms across 15 floors, and the overall standard is reliable and well-maintained.

Every room includes a proper desk with chair, in-room safe, minibar, coffee and tea maker, and complimentary bottled water. Blackout curtains mean you can sleep or work on any schedule. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. For longer stays, the room setup handles full working days comfortably.
The hotel has the feel of a clean, professional property without being stiff. Staff are consistently praised for being attentive and warm — greeting returning guests by name, offering local recommendations, and assisting with logistics without being intrusive. It suits solo travellers and couples equally well, and works for both short and extended stays.
For a four-star hotel with a rooftop pool, full breakfast buffet, on-site restaurant, spa access, and a fitness centre, Caravan sits at a price point that would be difficult to match in most other cities. The breakfast includes egg and pho stations to order, and the 15th-floor skybar runs a daily happy hour from 5–7 PM — a practical way to end the working day.
Caravan works well for remote workers staying in Phnom Penh for a week or more, as well as business travellers and independent visitors who want a reliable, high-quality base without paying boutique prices. First-time visitors to Cambodia will appreciate the straightforward service and central location.
Caravan sits in Sangkat Chakto Mukh, Phnom Penh's cultural and historic core. Independence Monument is 820m away, the Royal Palace and National Museum are both around 1.2–1.3km on foot. The riverside promenade at Sisowath Quay is 1.7km. Tuk tuks and Grab (ride-hailing) are easy from the front door and cost very little. The airport (Techo International) is about 22km away — roughly a 30–35 minute drive.
Caravan Hotel by EHM is a strong workation choice in Phnom Penh. The room setup handles real work days, the WiFi is reliable, and the overall quality is consistent. Add a rooftop pool and genuinely helpful staff, and it covers the essentials well above its price point. If you need a productive and comfortable base in Cambodia, this is a good bet.
The staff are 6 star. So very friendly and courteous. From the front desk to the bell boy, restaurant, pool cafe and spa, not a single person didn't have a smile and a hello. The restaurant is lovely. Very pretty flower covered ceiling with views over Phnom Penh. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice including eggs and omelettes to order. The 15th floor pool and bar is lovely. Pool is pristine and there is a bar snack and meal menu. Loungers and towels are available. Happy Hour is 5-7 and here you will find the best margaritas after a long day out exploring Phnom Penh!! The newly opened Spa (CamSense) is fabulous. Very reasonable priced. Body scrub and massage (2hrs) for around $50. Overall there is nothing to fault about this place. The quality and service is fabulous without being either overbearing or stuffy.
We just had an excellent stay at this beautiful modern hotel, offering exceptional service at a very reasonable rate. The staff is incredibly attentive — from the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warm smiles and opened the car door for us, which they did every time we got back to the hotel. Breakfast is high-quality, served in a beautifully decorated room overlooking Phnom Penh, accompanied by a musician playing a local instrument, creating a relaxing atmosphere to start the day gently. The rooftop pool offers stunning views over the city, as does the small gym. I also tried the hotel spa, which is absolutely gorgeous, with excellent quality massage treatments. The location is convenient, making it easy to reach the city's main attractions by tuk-tuk. I definitely recommend this place!
Everything at this hotel has been impeccable. The staff are very attentive at every station: reception, restaurant, cleaning and everyone in between. A mint-infused cold towel and drink upon arrival. Clean, newly renovated room. A nice small gym and nice small outdoor pool. The food quality and selection at the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner is excellent. And all this for the price I paid is just incredible. I highly recommend staying here! I'm considering booking again for when I come back to Phnom Penh for work. The location is 10-15 mins by car to UN buildings, and even closer to the Royal Garden and other landmarks.
Caravan Hotel by EHM absolutely blew me away! The rooms? Incredible. Think major comfort vibes with super-soft beds that just suck you in after a day of exploring. Everything is spotless and sleek — from the fast Wi-Fi to a smart TV, even the shower felt like a spa treatment. Breakfast is epic; they've got everything from local flavors to the classic favorites, and it's all so fresh! They have a killer rooftop bar with views over the city that are just insane. Imagine sipping on a perfectly mixed cocktail while watching the Phnom Penh skyline light up at dusk. But what really takes Caravan to the next level is the staff. They're honestly some of the friendliest, most helpful people I've ever met in my travels. If you're heading to Phnom Penh, don't even think twice. Caravan Hotel by EHM is the spot to be.
